Brush pick up will occur one day per month, the 4th Monday of the month from April through September. For the month of October, brush pickup will be the 2nd Monday of the month. Brush must be placed at the curbside stacked in the same direction. Brush should not cover the sidewalk or interfere with pedestrian traffic nor protrude into any part of the paved roadway. Brush and tree limbs will be collected if less than 6 inches in diameter and less than 10 feet long on the 4th Monday of the month.
Outdoor burning is not permitted in the Village, including leaves, dead grass, grass clippings, hedge clippings, weeds and similar type material. An exception exists for recreational fires when placed in a 36-inch diameter in ground camp fire pit and at least 20 feet from all property lines and structures.
The Village Code permits overnight on-street parking except from 2:00 a.m. – 6:00 a.m. from November 1 through March 31.

In the fall, the Village picks up leaves placed at the edge of the street. We provide this service from the second week in October through the first snow fall. However, a notice will be published to confirm.
All vehicles parked outside of a building must be licensed, operable and capable of safely operating on a Village street. The owner of the vehicle who resides at the premises may perform repairs outside of an enclosed building for a period of no more than 10 consecutive days. The total number of days shall not exceed 30 days per calendar year. Please see Section 78-25(b) of the Zoning Ordinance.
Recreational vehicles, boats, trailers or ORVs cannot be stored in front yards. They may be stored in the rear and side yards, but not in the required setback. In most residential districts, the side yard setback is 7 feet and the rear yard setback is 25 feet. Please see Sec. 78-25(e) of the Zoning Ordinance.
The Village of Middleville Code of Ordinances allows Recreational Vehicle Storage from April 30 to June 6 and from September 1 to September 30 in the front yard.
Village Code states: “All persons owning or occupying lots or parcels within the village limits which are bordered by a sidewalk on any side or sides shall remove snow from such sidewalk or sidewalks within 48 hours from the time any snowstorm shall cease”. Sec. 58-107(a)
